Help make a photo
Help us make the first tactile photographs.
Imagine a treasured photograph becoming something you can experience through touch. We plan to make that possible without charging the person receiving it, and the first prototypes are where it begins.
Our $7,500 GoFundMe fundraiser is live. We’re gathering support for the first tactile photograph prototypes, accessibility testing, and the practical work of building the program.
A focused beginning
Right now, the first prints are the goal.
We’re starting where it counts: building tactile prototypes, learning which forms communicate clearly by touch, and gathering informed feedback that will shape the service.
That’s what we plan the first round of support to make possible.
We want meaningful tactile photos to cost the recipient nothing, during launch and in the years that follow.

What early funding will do
The essential work that makes it possible.
Make and refine prototypes
Printing material, trial designs, refinements, and replacement prints as we develop durable, readable tactile forms.
Test with the people who will use them
Accessible instructions and feedback from blind and low-vision participants and tactile specialists, with their time and input treated respectfully.
Prepare to deliver prints for free
Protective packaging, postage, quality checks, and a secure way to handle requests and private photographs.
Sustain the mission
Help keep every tactile photograph free.
Our model is built around support rather than charging the person receiving the print. We plan to keep tactile photographs and standard shipping free to the blind and low-vision community through ongoing generosity from individuals, organizations, and corporate sponsors.
Individual supporters
Recurring and one-time gifts can help cover printing materials, packaging, shipping, accessibility work, and the everyday costs of fulfilling future requests.
Organizational & corporate sponsors
We are seeking organizations and companies that want to help fund both the initial research and launch and the long-term operation of the program. Sponsorship can help underwrite production capacity, materials, shipping, technology, and continued accessibility improvements.
Give toward the first prototypes
Help bring the first tactile photographs to life.
Our live GoFundMe campaign has an initial goal of $7,500 for supplies, prototype development, accessible feedback, and preparing to deliver future prints at no charge to recipients.
All donations are processed by GoFundMe. Contributions are not represented as tax-deductible gifts.
Help beyond a donation
Maybe you have a skill we need.
If you know tactile graphics, 3D printing, accessibility testing, practical fulfillment, or represent an organization or company interested in long-term sponsorship, your involvement can help shape and sustain the program.
